Job position description:
Are you passionate about early childhood education and love working with toddlers and young preschoolers? We're looking for a nurturing, energetic, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our team in a 2/3-year-old combo classroom!
At Creative Beginnings, we provide a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, grow, and thrive. This position is ideal for a teacher who understands the unique developmental needs of both two- and three-year-olds and enjoys creating a fun and structured learning environment.

You will create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for both 2- and 3-year-olds. Be able to implement conscious discipline strategies into your classroom. Provide tools and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use during learning and play activities. Incorporate diverse learning experiences such as play, music, art, storytelling, and hands-on activities to promote cognitive, language, motor, and social skills. Observe and document children's progress, noting developmental milestones and any potential concerns. You must be able to assist children with personal care activities such as toileting and cleanliness needs, as appropriate for their age and stage of development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, development, and classroom activities. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program and ensure smooth transitions. You will monitor the safety and well-being of children at all times, ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment. You will need to attend staff meetings, professional development activities, and parent meetings as required.

Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent or higher
- A minimum 6 months employed in a licensed child care center.
- CDA, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or working toward completion. (Preferred not required)
- First Aid/CPR/AED by the NSC or willing to obtain
- Ability to meet all licensing requirements-DSS background check, medical assessment etc.
- Must be able to commit to a full time Monday- Friday 8:30- 5:30 schedule.

Compensation: $30,160.00 - $37,440.00 per year
