Company Introduction:
 Creative Beginnings CDC is a multi site child development center established in 2003.  We are committed as a family and team to work together to provide an excellent high- quality educational  environment where children feel safe, loved and eager to learn.  We will provide them with the most excellent care possible and do our best to make their first step to education a positive one. 

Job position description
  • Monday - Friday no nights or weekends.
  • Work Schedule will be 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day.
Our Holmestown center is seeking a Infant Floater that is exceptional, dedicated, and fun. Someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Compassion, Loyalty, family and Creativity! 

As an Infant Floater you have the ability to work in both Infant/Waddler classrooms of our center therefore, flexibility is a must. You will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for infants 6 weeks to 12 months. You are able to follow classroom schedules and lesson plans. Be able to implement conscious discipline strategies. Support infant classrooms by stepping in where needed (breaks, vacations, staff support).  We like you to provide nurturing, one-on-one attention and to use verbal and non-verbal communication with each Infant. Use the safe sleep practices (e.g., ABCs of sleep: Alone, on Back, in a Crib) and make sure you're monitoring feeding schedules, nap times, diaper changes, and developmental progress. 

 Follow daily care routines (feeding, diapering, napping) with love and attention. Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Maintain clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classrooms. Collaborate with lead teachers and administration on curriculum and caregiving.

You must be energetic, nurturing, and patient and a team player with excellent communication skills. Comfortable working in various infant rooms based on daily staffing needs. Be organized, adaptable, and dependable.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or ECE units preferred)

  • Experience in an infant or early childhood classroom

  • Pediatric CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)

  • Must pass background check and meet local licensing requirements
